What the Care Plan covers.
Models change every few months. The Care Plan keeps the install current.
- Updates and fixes
- Model and platform updates, and bug fixes within 48 business hours. On DeskIQ Private it also covers local model updates.
- Support and tuning
- Support by Telegram or email, up to one hour per user each month, and routing tuned to keep model usage low.
- The six-month minimum
- The first six months are required. After that you can cancel with 30 days written notice. The install and its config files stay yours.
What is not in the price.
Four things cost extra, and one is a bill from someone else.
- AI model usage on Setup and Desk
- You pay your AI model provider directly, about $5 to $20 per user a month. DeskIQ does not bill it. Private has no usage bill.
- A custom workflow, $149
- One price for the whole team.
- Support beyond the included hours, $120 an hour
- Billed only when you ask for it.
- An on-site visit outside northeast Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, $250
- Travel only. Remote install has no travel charge.
- Users added mid-plan
- Set up at the per-user Setup rate for your team's current size.

Why is it priced per user?
Each user gets their own workflows, accounts and approvals set up, so the work scales with people. The per-user setup price drops at 5 and 10 users.
Do I have to buy a computer from you?
No. Setup installs on a Mac you already own. DeskIQ Desk and DeskIQ Private include a Mac mini that you own outright. Apple warrants the hardware, and you can add AppleCare+ at cost.
Is the AI model included?
On Setup and Desk, no. You pay a cloud AI provider directly, about $5 to $20 per user a month. On DeskIQ Private the model runs on the Mac mini, so there is no usage bill.
Can I move from Desk to Private later?
Yes. We swap the hardware and do a fresh install. Contact us to talk through the cost difference.
What if I cancel the Care Plan?
After the six-month minimum, give 30 days written notice. The install and all config files stay yours. We stop providing updates and support.
