With Setup and Desk you pay your AI model provider for usage, about $5 to $20 per user a month. Private has no usage bill. Extras: a custom workflow is $149, support beyond the Care Plan is $120 an hour, and an on-site visit outside northeast Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire is $250.
Where your data goes.
It depends on the option, so here is each one plainly.
- Setup and DeskIQ Desk
- The assistant and your files live on your computer. To draft or summarize, it sends that task's content, which can include an attachment, to the cloud AI provider you choose. We don't see your client emails.
- DeskIQ Private
- The AI model runs on the Mac mini in your office, so task content stays there. Private is the only fully local option.
- Every option
- You own the install and the computer it runs on. Nothing sends without your approval.

How much does it cost?
Setup on your Mac is $449 per user, one time, and less at 5 and 10 users. DeskIQ Desk is $1,499 and DeskIQ Private is $2,499, computer included. The Care Plan is $149 a month for the first user and $99 for each additional user, with a six-month minimum. With Setup and Desk you also pay your AI model provider about $5 to $20 per user a month.
What does the assistant actually do?
It reads your inbox, drafts replies in your voice, reminds you about open threads, and handles recurring tasks like engagement letters or follow-up nudges. Nothing sends without your approval.
Where does my client data go?
With Setup and Desk, your files stay on your computer, and the cloud AI provider receives the content of each task the assistant sends it, which can include attachments. With DeskIQ Private, the AI model runs in your office and task content stays there.
Do I need to be technical?
No. We install, configure and tune it. You learn how to approve drafts and ask for things in plain language.
What if it doesn't work out?
The Care Plan covers fixes and tuning during the first six months. After that, you can cancel the Care Plan and keep the install, or we remove it cleanly.
